It’s always sad to say goodbye to talented creatives and this month we bid farewell to both Dave Brayford and Ryan Bartaby.

We've also welcomed four new team members into the fold, including two new designers, a new copywriter and a studio and finance coordinator.

Dave is Nixon’s longest serving employee, having been with us for over ten years. In this time, he’s been responsible for a range of print work, from wayfinding to packaging, for the likes of St Michael’s Mount, Aspects Holidays, Falmouth University and Gaia Spa. Always keen on a print finish, he has a great eye for detail that will be sorely missed. Ryan joined us after a stint in London and brought an enthusiasm for typography and strategy-led design that saw him lead on beautiful work for Richfords, Latitude50 and, more recently, Romford. They’ve both added to the studio massively and I’m sure they’ll go on to great things. Nice one chaps, I owe you a beer or two…

Jasmine and Henry of Nixon Design

After an 80-candidate application process, filled with some fantastic talent, shortlists, interviews and countless cups of coffee (thanks Salt) we’re delighted to announce that joining the design team are two graduates from opposite ends of the country. They bring with them bags of enthusiasm, skill and a passion for creating design that takes Nixon up a notch once again. Jasmine graduated from Falmouth University this year with a lovely eye for detail across brand and print, plus a talent for photography. Henry is relocating from Manchester, bringing with him a focus on strategic design and a flair for typography. They’ll be working on various digital, brand and print projects in the coming months and we can’t wait to see what they bring to the table.

Nixon Design's copywriter and Content Assistant, Samuel Birnie

Birnie joins our growing content team after graduating from Falmouth University this year with a first-class creative writing degree. Well versed in a range of writing styles, and a stickler for grammatical accuracy, Birnie will be working on all written communications, proof-reading, editing and crafting engaging copy.

Anita Janes of Nixon Design

Alongside Jasmine, Henry and Birnie, we’re also happy to welcome a new studio coordinator, Anita, who will help to keep the Nixon ship sailing smoothly. Joining us from the Cinnamon Trust, she’s already making great strides with the endless admin our growing team creates. Her role will really help us focus on the projects in hand – which with Christmas campaigns now well underway, is no small thing…
