Championing local food
We first worked with Westcountry Fruit Sales on their wholesale website over three years ago. Clearly we must have impressed them, because they have since asked us to both create the brand and build the website for an exciting new venture – Cornish Food Market.
Cornish Food Market is still in its infancy but already there has been huge interest from the public. In terms of scale and complexity, this is certainly the biggest site we have built to date. So much so that we enlisted the specialist knowledge of Packetship and SNA to help deliver the functionality required.
The premise is simple; why shop online with a national supermarket when you can source better quality produce locally in Cornwall and then get it delivered to your home? Why not indeed, and it seems that many people agree. The suppliers also get more reward for both their labour and their lovely local produce.
