A bold new move for Nixon
Posted by Nixon

We’re marking the next phase of Nixon with a fresh approach – and an exciting new studio space.
If you know us, you’ll know that the last year or two has marked a period of exciting change at Nixon. Becoming an Employee Ownership Trust, beginning our B Corp journey, and revisiting our own brand strategy – they’re all things that have made us pause, think, and adapt. And that includes a studio move into new digs.

Luckily, the right place was waiting just around the corner – almost literally. Foundry Farm is a collection of workshops and studios converted from the former Harvey’s farmyard and stable blocks. It’s just a short hop from our old studio and has the same sense of character and history. We signed a new lease, and we started making plans.
Anyone who’s ever moved will know that half the fun is making a space your own. (They’ll also know that getting reliable broadband installed can feel like falling down a black hole, but the less said about that, the better).
For a team like ours, it’s also important to have a “gathering” space – somewhere we can meet, eat, and spread out ideas on paper. We put this challenge to local joiner Sam Draper and he’s truly done us proud – creating a bespoke table and benches that not only fit the bill in terms of functionality, but also complement the simple space brilliantly. Day by day, the new studio has really started to feel like a home.
Now we’re more settled, we’d love to start welcoming people – including our clients and friends – into the space. So, if you’d like to see where we are and join us for a coffee, just send us a message.
