Pendennis Shipyard is one of the world’s leading superyacht refit and custom build facilities. Based in Falmouth, with a service centre in Barcelona, Pendennis employs over 550 highly skilled tradespeople and has seen its people-first ethos rewarded with over 30 awards since its foundation.
Applying a deep understanding of brand
We’ve built a long-term relationship with the Pendennis team. Across a range of projects, including a website, brand magazine, creative advertising campaigns, we’ve taken our deep understanding of the Pendennis brand and helped to highlight it at every point. And, with a refreshed brand architecture following the acquisition of a new marina, Pendennis Vilanova, we’ve worked to create a seamless experience, underpinned by the same values and vision.
Creating a prestige publication
Voyage is Pendennis’ in-house magazine and the brand’s principal marketing tool at events such as Monaco Yacht Show. Alongside showcasing impressive visuals of projects, Voyage provides an opportunity to unpack the incredible stories behind Pendennis’ refits, restorations and rebuilds, giving a snapshot of the skill, care and thought that goes into each.
Taking the Pendennis difference online
In redesigning the Pendennis website, we sought to create something reflective of its reputation. Led by our understanding of UX (user experience) we collaborated in two workshops to consider Pendennis’ key audiences and the content that would directly support their priorities, needs, and business goals. We then set about creating a fluid journey for all users, capturing attention with prominent calls to action.
Showcasing the brand through exhibitions and advertising
As a luxury brand, Pendennis competes within high-profile shows, platforms and publications. So, to create real impact and allow Pendennis to stand out from the crowd, we collectively challenge the superyacht industry norms. By using people-focused photography and focusing on core differences, such as Pendennis’ passion for detail, we’ve successfully carved out a niche in the sector.
